Interventional Radiology (IR) TechnologistPerforms and assists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in both routine and emergency settings. Responsibilities include preparing and screening patients, maintaining a sterile environment, operating specialized imaging equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, administering contrast under supervision, managing supplies and documentation, and ensuring radiation and patient safety. Works closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, responds to emergencies, and may assist with student training and other imaging modalities such as X-ray.MUST have experience with neuro IR cases (will have to take call for strokes) and GI embolization casesRequirements:2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experienceARRT R.T.(R) certificationARRT VI, CV, or CI certificationBLS certification within 30 days of hireWork Environment: Direct patient care with exposure to blood/body fluids, infectious diseases, hazardous materials, chemicals, and radiation. Additional Health can downstaff travelers 36/48 hours in a 13-week contract based on their weekly schedule. Position Start Billing string = Medefis
