Job Title: Angiography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: ARRT, State License Required Certifications: BLS; Vascular Intervention Certification Preferred Must-Have: - ARRT License - BLS Certification Description: This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology. The average daily census is 7-10 patients. Shifts are typically from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with an on-call rotation. On-call coverage includes approximately 8 days each month, including one weekend. Candidates must have skills in accurate monitoring and equipment setup. You will be responsible for performing EKG lead placement and prepping access sites. Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is critical. You will serve as the room circulator and maintain a sterile field while scrubbing. Experience with vascular closure systems is preferred. Infection control practices must be adhered to, including sterility. The unit specializes in peripheral angiography/venography with interventional procedures. Candidates should be open to floating to a sister facility when required. There is a potential for accommodating blocked schedule requests within reason. A clean and active license is essential before starting the position. Previous charge experience is preferred for this role. Travel experience is a plus, but first-time travelers are accepted.
