Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,690 per week in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year as an Interventional Radiology Technician License: California radiology technologist license (if applicable) Certifications: RCIS or ARRT Radiology, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Confidence and cooperation from the patient and family/support group. - Competent patient assessment and attentive monitoring skills. - Effective communication skills. Description: Follows clearly defined procedures to provide support for the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab. Integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under supervision. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety for optimal patient care. May be responsible for mentoring and training students. Experience in accurate monitoring, angioplasty, catheter/drain exchange, and various other interventional procedures is required. Knowledge of equipment setup and sterile field maintenance is essential. Experience with charting systems is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers is necessary. Must have experience in providing care to diverse patient age groups, including infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
