Call Required: Yes, 5-7 days per month. Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in a dynamic clinical setting. They will assist a team of Interventional Radiologists and Surgeons. The role requires performing a variety of procedures including cerebral angiography, angiography of various body parts, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, and venous access. The Technologist will work in multiple specialized rooms including single-plane and biplane IR rooms. They will be responsible for maintaining sterile fields and ensuring proper equipment setup. Experience with angiograms, nephograms, and various access techniques is essential. Candidates should be familiar with the use of fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound for biopsy procedures. The position involves management of sharp instruments and adherence to strict safety protocols. The Technologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients.
