Job Summary Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology unit of a healthcare facility. The role requires delivering patient care during complex procedures such as CT guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 1 year of clinical experience; valid license (including quick start options).
Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in interventional radiology or ICU settings; experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation, and ICU procedures.
Additional Responsibilities: Handling procedural patients in a high-acuity environment, adapting to occasional float requirements, and maintaining compliance with facility policies.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
Special Equipment/Procedures: Use of EPIC Electronic Medical Record system for charting.
Experience Requirements: 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant environment.
Submission Requirements: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years; response to prior work at Providence facilities if applicable.
