Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a busy IR department at a comprehensive stroke and teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of IR experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department within a Short Term Acute Care teaching hospital that serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required
• No weekend requirements
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Uses Cerner charting system

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of IR nursing experience required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a very busy IR department at a large 599-bed facility
• Royal blue scrub color required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• No RTO permitted in travel contracts
