Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior IR nursing experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Procedures include IR, cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Experience circulating procedures and interpreting/managing dysrhythmias required
• Scrub procedure and triage skills preferred
• 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a manager/director and no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating IR procedures and monitoring for dysrhythmias
• Fingerprinting must be completed urgently upon signing contract due to Ohio state requirements
• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location promptly after booking
• Candidates at extreme distances will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet requiring urgent completion
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• RTO must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Former employees eligible for travel assignments after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this health system
• First-time travelers with specific IR or RPR skills may be considered
