Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,230–$2,350
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel Registered Nurse assignment
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- End Date: January 25, 2027
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days, approximately 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Healthcare Setting: Interventional Radiology
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
- Daily Census: Approximately 15–20 patients
- Electronic Medical Record: Recent Epic charting experience required
- Weekend Coverage: May be required approximately every 3–4 weekends, based on staffing
- Call: Typically one weeknight of call every other week from 5:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., plus one weekend call shift approximately every 4–6 weeks from Friday evening through Monday morning. Saturday overnight call coverage may be needed.
- Float: Occasional floating to nearby affiliated facilities may be required
Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at submission when applicable
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required; 3–5 years preferred
- Prior ICU nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Recent Epic charting experience
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Experience monitoring and administering procedural sedation
- Ability to care for adult and geriatric procedural patients
- Willingness to participate in scheduled weekend coverage, call, and occasional floating
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients before, during, and after Interventional Radiology procedures
- Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation and recognize changes in clinical condition
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias while maintaining close cardiopulmonary observation
- Prepare patients, equipment, and documentation for a variety of image-guided procedures
- Support procedures including CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower-extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine and stress tests, paracenteses, thoracenteses, and Y-90 procedures
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and provider orders
- Collaborate with radiology providers, physicians, IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary partners
- Complete accurate documentation in Epic and promote continuity of care
- Respond appropriately to urgent patient needs and participate in call coverage as scheduled
- Maintain a professional, adaptable approach while supporting a high-quality procedural care environment
