Job Details:

**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - MUST HAVE NEURO IR EXPERIENCE - LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Pre op/PACU experience or ICU experience with IR experience **Required Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification **Preferred Certifications:** - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) if possible **Additional Requirements:** - Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (traveler has 2 attempts; failure results in DNU [Do Not Use] status) - Competency in sterile field maintenance is crucial - Completion of SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes (pass/fail) - Pre-Insurance and Recovery of patients post conscious sedation and general anesthesia **Additional Information:** - Radiology Pre and Post Procedural area needing nurse expertise - Orientation includes lifts, restraints, and wound care (for educational purposes) - Will work with outpatient and inpatient populations, critical care, tele - Shifts include 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday and potential holiday requirements **Notes on Appearance and Professional Conduct:** - Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings - Men must be clean-shaven for fit test **Work Environment:** - 5 Angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, US, Nuclear medicine available - Components: IR Techs, CT, Nuclear medicine, US techs, VAT for PICC lines, SWAT available for difficult IV starts - Hospitalist or Intensivist, RT, and Pharmacy available 24/7 **Charting and Care Setting:** - EMR System: Cerner - Trauma Level: 1 - Acute care setting **License Requirement:** - License to submit: Yes (BSN not required)
