Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) RN Days, US. This position involves providing care for patients undergoing procedures in interventional radiology suites, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound settings, with moderate sedation needs. The role includes assisting with complex procedures, monitoring patient status, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols at a Level 1 Trauma Center and primary stroke center, functioning as a teaching hospital with residents and fellowship programs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in state or compact, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), a minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a similar setting, and experience with Epic charting system
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or Level II experience, community hospital experience, and prior travel experience
• Additional Information: The position covers two interventional radiology rooms, CT, and ultrasound procedures, with a focus on moderate sedation. The unit has interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and radiology. Candidates should be comfortable managing complex procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, cerebral angiography, and vascular closure systems, among others. The role requires compliance with facility-specific travel and licensing rules, and the completion of onboarding modules within 48 hours of contract signing.
