Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care and Angio/IR experience at a Level I trauma center in Savannah, GA.

Details

  • Work in the Angiography/IR department, specifically the Interventional Labs located in the Heart and Vascular Tower
  • Unit consists of 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR)
  • 1:1 patient ratios
  • Unit staffed with 3-4 person teams including Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS (ideal staffing of 2 techs and 2 RNs)
  • Utilizes specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
  • Documentation via EPIC Cupid
  • 4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
  • Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • High acuity patient population including stroke and trauma cases
  • Procedures performed include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases

Requirements

  • Active GA or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Critical care experience with gtt management required
  • Angio/IR experience including stroke and trauma care required
  • ICU or ER experience required
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Interventional Radiology setting
  • Work within a Level I Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including techs, RCIS, and RN staff
  • Required to wear royal blue and black RN uniform per unit dress code
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
  • No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
