Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) position located in NEW BEDFORD, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a 4-procedure room unit dedicated to adult patients aged 14 to 99. The position offers a rotating day/evening shift schedule, with on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage, supporting the organizations commitment to delivering high-quality interventional radiology services.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of interventional radiology nursing experience, and a minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens and Philips radiology equipment, EPIC Radiant documentation system, Philips monitors, and familiarity with technologies such as Laser, AngioJet, EKOS, CSI, vaso drips, thrombolytics, and moderate sedation.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with on-call commitments one to two nights per week, one weekend per month, and one holiday during the assignment.
- Additional Information: The unit cares for adult patients with common diagnoses including peripheral artery disease (PAD), pulmonary embolism (PE), and cancer. The team operates with ratios of 1:1 for patients and on-call team members, with emergency ventilator use only and experience with various drips and machines required. The assignment begins on 08/17/2026, and travel is required for this role.
