Job Summary: Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position located in Thornton, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a high-demand unit that performs a variety of vascular and diagnostic procedures. The position offers a collaborative work environment with experienced staff and utilizes advanced equipment to support patient outcomes.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 1-year current acute care Interventional Radiology (IR) experience, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Meditech electronic medical record experience, strong vascular access skills, PICC line or midline experience.
Additional Information: Candidates will be working in a unit that performs procedures such as Para/thora/LVO/FNA/Midline/Piccline/Kyphoplasty/PE thrombectomy. The IR department works closely with imaging services and emphasizes a supportive environment with team celebration and professional growth. Call is required from 5 PM to 7 AM on weeknights and 24 hours on weekends, with 7-9 shifts per month.
