• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Facility Type: Level I trauma center, primary stroke center, and teaching hospital
• Orientation: Onsite orientation provided

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to support moderate sedation and direct patient care
• Comfort working in a fast-paced procedural and diagnostic environment
• Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
• Travel nurses must meet all compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Support moderate sedation monitoring and procedural patient care in the IR suite, CT, and ultrasound
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure stability, safety, and comfort
• Assist with a variety of specialized procedures and diagnostic interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver seamless care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Respond effectively to clinical changes and support patient safety throughout the procedural experience
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
