Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a VA or compact RN license and Epic experience preferred.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• 8-week contract at 24 hours per week
• Three 8-hour day shifts per week that stagger every 30 minutes
• Shift options begin between 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM with corresponding end times between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM
• May float within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities based on census and volume
• ICU travelers may float to non-ICU units with standard patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration (temporary licenses accepted)
• Current Nursys report and all required certifications must be submitted
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• No local radius restriction, with local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Requested time off exceeding 7 days requires an equivalent extension of the assignment
• Up to 8 hours of pre-start training modules required within one week of signing, completed through an online learning platform
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to start
• Travelers previously employed by this health system must have a 1-year separation before returning to an assignment
• Travel pairs may not both receive offers, and matching schedules are not guaranteed if both are offered
