Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Cath Lab & IR experience and a compact or PA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• Cares for patients undergoing vascular studies and procedures, including angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper/lower extremity angiography
• Uses vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose
• Schedule consists of 4x10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call coverage required for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed with a 30-minute response time
• Floating required as needed
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• May care for COVID-19 patients

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or PA) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Pressure ulcer assessment and prevention skills required
• Sheath removal and monitoring experience required
• Knowledge of radiation and laser safety protocols required
• Familiarity with Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale required

• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Must live within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local candidate consideration
