Job Summary Interventional Radiology Nurse in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in an interventional radiology unit featuring advanced imaging equipment and a skilled team. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of independently managing procedural and patient care duties, with opportunities to work in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, at least 3 years of experience in Procedural Departments, Critical Care, Emergency Department, or ICU, experience with Moderate Sedation, and certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidate must be located within a 30-minute radius of the hospital.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is highly regarded.
Unit Details: 2 IR Suites (Single Plane and Bi-Plane), 1 holding area, 1 CT procedure room, staffed by 5 nurses and 5 technicians, with Philips Bi-Plane, Philips Single Plane, and GE Monitoring equipment.
Additional Information: The candidate should have the ability to work independently and efficiently within the nursing role, and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Flexibility for weekends, on-call shifts, and potential extra hours is required. No floating areas are specified.
