Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Radiographer/RN for a specialty care hospital, requiring ARRT registry and 2+ years of IR experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department located on the 2nd floor of a 225-bed specialty care hospital, Trauma Level 2
• 5 exam rooms and 1 specials room
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common procedures include peripheral interventions, biopsies, venous and arterial thrombolysis, EVARs, MMAs, and drain placements
• Uses GE Innova imaging equipment
• Cerner EHR system
• 8-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
• Weekend hours are call only, with call requirements of 1 call night per week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks on a rotational basis
• Floating required to the Interventional Pain Clinic

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• ARRT Registry required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Skilled in operating radiology equipment and sterile technique
• Able to scrub for a variety of IR procedures
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Perform radiographer duties supporting a variety of IR procedures alongside different providers and staff
• Must be comfortable working in several different clinical situations
• Hospital-provided scrubs required; standard surgical attire only
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Bi-weekly orientation offered
