Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR and Neuro experience for a role at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit with a focus on Neuro IR procedures
• Daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist
• Shift options include 5x8 hour days (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) or 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM-5:30 PM)
• On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week
• Must be able to report within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
• No floating to sister facilities or within scope required
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro procedures required
• BLS and ARRT (R) with VI required
• ACLS and CCI RCIS preferred
• License required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level 1 Trauma status
• Facility provides scrubs
• First-time travelers will be considered depending on the position
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application for consideration
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
