Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract position in San Luis Obispo, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging and support during interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to prepare for and assist during interventional procedures.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of radiologic equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures throughout the procedure.
- Document all procedures accurately in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in call rotation, providing on-call support as scheduled.
Requirements
- Current California Radiology Technologist license.
- Fluoroscopy certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of IR procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
