Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Laboratory (INTRA CL) Technician in a healthcare facility. This position involves supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in performing interventional radiology procedures, ensuring technical accuracy, patient safety, and adherence to all relevant regulations. The role emphasizes patient assessment, monitoring, effective communication, and technical competence.

Job Details

• Certifications required: RCIS or ARRT Radiology, BLS, ACLS
• Education and experience: 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician, with at least 2 years of overall clinical experience
• Location requirements: State-specific licensure (California radiology technologist license if ARRT (R))
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, days, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; shift begins at 7:00 AM
• Responsibilities include: accurate monitoring, angioplasty, carotid angiography, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access, chest tube placement, embolization, endovascular interventions, fluoroscopy, image-guided biopsies, equipment setup, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, vascular procedures, and maintaining sterile fields
• Additional information: Must demonstrate proficiency in a variety of interventional radiology procedures and equipment, with a focus on patient safety and effective communication.
