This role involves performing invasive procedures in a catheterization laboratory setting, supporting a team with advanced imaging equipment and protocols. Job Details
Location: Hendersonville, TN
Schedule: Days, 9-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with an on-call rotation after hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification with interventional catheterization laboratory experience; minimum one year cath lab experience; no experience requirement for initial certification; effective communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interventional radiology and electrophysiology procedures, including left heart angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker implants, ports, drains, AAA, and STEMI cases; advanced procedural skills
Position Specifics: Support for procedures involving GE cath lab equipment, documentation in merge scheduling system, and adherence to unit policies and guidelines. The team is comprised of scrub technologists, circulating registered nurses or radiologic technologists, with staff working in a collaborative environment with new equipment and technological advancements.
Additional Information: Floating policy allows for work in electrophysiology (EP) or IR if experience exists. The unit values experienced staff and offers schedule flexibility, highlighting a modern facility with experienced team members and a focus on quality patient outcomes.
