Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR) technician in Savannah, Georgia. This position involves working in a high-acuity Angiography and Interventional Radiology unit within a Level I trauma center. The role focuses on supporting procedures such as port placements, thrombectomy, atherectomy, and stroke interventions, requiring ICU/ER experience with a focus on critical care and stroke management.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week with call coverage.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as ACLS and BLS, with relevant experience in critical care, Angiography, or Interventional Radiology, including stroke and trauma care. No minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit features advanced equipment such as IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream. Staff staffing typically includes a lead tech, RN, and two radiologic technologists (ARRT / RTR, RCIS), with an ideal team composition of 2 techs and 2 RNs. The hospital is a designated Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and handles high-acuity cases with a small but specialized team.
