Job Summary: Interventional Radiology Clinical Technician position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures within a busy hospital setting. Candidates will primarily provide scrub and circulate support for neurointerventional and vascular procedures, with an emphasis on team collaboration and clinical excellence.
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with every 7th weekend scheduled and one night secondary call during the week
Unit Information:
Interventional Radiology department with 2 single-plane (GE) and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms
15 staff members including technologists, nurses, and management
Equipment includes single-plane and biplane imaging systems, as well as an invasive CT scanner
EMR system: Cerner (Radnet)
Responsibilities:
Support for procedures such as dialysis work, nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90 therapy, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases
Perform cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
Personality Fit: Flexible team player with collaborative skills
Additional Notes:
Prior neurointerventional and vascular operating room experience preferred
Candidates should be adaptable to the unit policies and dress code provided by the facility
