Job Summary Interventional Radiology Technologist in the INTRA CL specialty for a healthcare provider location. This position involves performing radiological functions for special procedures and interventional examinations, assisting physicians during procedures, and providing diagnostic imaging support. Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program; active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license; current State/District license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association; 2 years of experience; Current state Radiation Quality Standards.
Responsible for radiological functions for special procedures and other interventional examinations.
Assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol.
Observes patients during procedures and reports abnormal activity.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
