Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a cardiac interventional radiology lab role requiring ARRT (R) or ARRT (IR) certification and strong endovascular experience.

Details

• Cardiac interventional radiology lab within a cardiovascular OR unit
• Top diagnoses include AAA, ischemic limb, and aneurysms of other vascular structures
• Top procedures include EVAR, TVAR, angios, and arteriograms
• Uses equipment such as IVUS, Philips, Siemens, Medrad, and Sonosite systems
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• May float to general radiology IR as needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• ARRT (R) or ARRT (IR) certification required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 18 months full-time experience in a similar acuity CVOR or IR setting within the last 3 years
• Strong endovascular experience with proficiency rated 3-4 in cardiac and vascular procedures
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Blue scrubs required for dress code
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
