Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support cardiac and vascular IR procedures, requiring ARRT (R) or ARRT (IR) certification and 18 months of recent experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology Lab setting supporting cardiac and vascular procedures
• Top diagnoses treated include AAA, ischemic limb, and aneurysms of other vascular structures
• Top procedures include EVAR, TVAR, angiograms, and arteriograms
• Uses IVUS, Philips, Siemens, Medrad, and SonoSite equipment
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• May float to radiology IR as needed
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• ARRT (R) or ARRT (IR) certification required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 18 months of recent experience required
• Strong endovascular experience with cardiac and vascular procedures required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology procedures supporting cardiac and vascular diagnoses
• Blue scrubs required
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
