Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinician (INTRA CL) position in Stockton, California. This role involves providing care in a busy cardiac and interventional radiology suite, handling complex procedures such as laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet. The candidate will be expected to work with critically ill patients and be comfortable with peripheral and coronary cardiovascular experiences.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, Fluoroscopy certification, minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience, license to submit, must be located in or willing to work in Stockton, California
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Merge Hemodynamics system, familiarity with Siemens/Phillips equipment in cath labs, experience with critically ill patients, competence with peripheral and coronary circulations, knowledge of Merge system is a bonus
• Additional Information:
  • Unit includes cath lab and interventional radiology suites/labs with 4 rooms
  • Certified radiologic technologists with ARRT and fluoroscopy skills preferred
  • EMR used: Cerner system
  • Cardiology staff on call 24/7, including cardiologists and respiratory therapists, with RT available for ventilator cases
  • Call response time: 30 minutes
  • Scrubs provided; bright blue scrubs
  • No floating required; unit orientation is 1-2 days
  • Common procedures include laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, angiojet, as well as STEMI cases; candidate should be comfortable with critically ill patients
  • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts for 13-week assignments or 3 shifts for shorter durations
