Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 3-4 years of experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Self-scheduled call shifts totaling 10 shifts per month
• Weekend call requirement of 3 shifts including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at least once per month
• One long weekend off per month without requesting

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience required
• ARRT R and BLS certifications required
• ARRT VI and ACLS certifications preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Compact or LA license required in hand upon submittal
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with 3D imaging, angiography, angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement procedures
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Skilled in equipment set up, sterile field maintenance, and room circulator duties
• Experience with CT, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound equipment including Philips and Siemens systems
• PACS system proficiency

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, biopsy, drain placements, and vascular interventions
• May be assigned to an emergency team during declared events requiring extended facility presence or relief team participation
• Orientation held five days a week
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• Must live 65+ miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates must be separated from prior employment with this health system for one full year before returning as a traveler
