Interventional Radiology Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. This position offers a dynamic working environment with a focus on patient care and advanced radiological procedures.

Schedule

The standard work schedule consists of:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Wednesday: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call or weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities

The Interventional Radiology Technician will be responsible for:

• Performing interventional radiology procedures including tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, and various catheter placements.
• Assisting in pain management procedures such as epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations.
• Executing vascular procedures, including angiograms and thrombectomies.
• Scrubbing for interventional radiology, vascular, and pain management procedures.
• Proficient operation of the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Current ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS certifications, and fluoro permit.
• Valid MD license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
• Previous experience in travel assignments is preferred.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
