Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Shift: Days
Schedule: 3x12-hour
On-Call: Every 4th weekend and 1 day per week

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist experience
  • Experience scrubbing complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures
  • Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License
  • ARRT (R) Certification
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Radiography Program

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub and assist during complex vascular and neuro-interventional procedures
  • Operate floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopy equipment
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields while following infection prevention protocols
  • Operate power injectors for contrast administration
  • Assist with post-procedure groin management
  • Document procedures and upload images to PACS/Sectra
  • Collaborate with radiologists, vascular surgeons, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment

Experience scrubbing complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License ARRT (R) Certification AHA BLS Certification Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Radiography Program
