Job Summary: Interventional Radiology Technologist in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves performing specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with department policies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of supporting clinical operations and delivering exemplary patient care.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program; current national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensure by the applicable state regulatory agency if required; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience.
Additional Information: The role may involve directing the activities of students and support staff. The technologist must demonstrate competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications, and maintaining equipment quality control. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment, adhering to radiation safety policies, and maintaining confidentiality of all work information.
