Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Details

  • Shift: 5x8 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Daily Caseload Per Tech: 4 cases
  • On-Call Requirements: Yes, in rotation with two other technologists
  • Weekend Requirements: Yes, every third weekend
  • Floating Requirements: No

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year required, with experience in General Interventional Radiology
  • Preferred Experience: Neuro Interventional Radiology
  • Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRSA
  • Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the agency; not supplied by the facility

Work Environment

  • Type of Facility: Tertiary facility
  • Scrub Color: OR scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Parking: No cost for parking

Miscellaneous Information

  • Block Schedule Accommodation: Requires manager's approval based on unit needs
  • Local Radius: Must live outside a 60-mile radius
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
  • Hurricane Season Notice: During hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams
