Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience to support a Comprehensive Stroke Program at a hospital utilizing advanced neuro-interventional technology.

Details

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital with a Comprehensive Stroke Program
  • 13-week assignment with a schedule of 07:00-15:30
  • Unit is equipped with a new Philips biplane system for neuro-interventional procedures
  • Perform mechanical endovascular reperfusion (MER) procedures
  • Perform Y90 radioembolization, peripheral vascular intervention, kyphoplasty, and embolization procedures including Onyx and Embosphere
  • Utilize IVUS, Philips Laser, AngioJet, Jetstream, Shockwave, and Inari/Penumbra equipment
  • May float between units or facilities within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs, with advance notice provided before any float shift

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS certification through AHA
  • Scrub experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
