Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 12+ months of vascular procedure and Cardiac Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.

Details

  • Hospital-based Vascular Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab setting
  • 5x8 hour day shifts totaling 40 hours per week
  • Call requirement of every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend
  • Required to float across campuses when needed
  • Holiday rotation required
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting
  • Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
  • Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required
  • Peripheral vascular experience required
  • Level I trauma experience preferred
  • Active ARRT (R) or RCIS/CCI certification required
  • ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; license required if applicable, and licensing candidates will be considered
  • Driver's license required for consideration
  • Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred

Additional Information

  • Perform vascular interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring
  • Support Operating Room procedures as needed
  • First-time travelers are welcomed for this role
  • Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
  • Limited time-off requests are permitted during the winter holiday periods
  • Prior employment with the facility within the past 12 months may affect submission eligibility
  • Local candidates may be considered subject to facility-specific radius rules
