**Exciting Opportunity in Interventional Radiology!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
- **Profession:** Radiology/Cardiology
- **Specialty:** Interventional Radiology
- **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on neuro and stroke procedures.
- Manage and maintain sterile fields during interventional procedures.
- Perform a variety of procedures including:
- Venous Access
- Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines)
- Angioplasty
- Stent placement
- Embolization
- Liver Biopsy
- Thoracentesis and more!
**Experience Requirements:**
- Minimum 1 year of scrub experience in Neuro and Stroke.
- Inpatient hospital experience preferred.
- Travel experience required; locals accepted.
- Familiarity with PACS, Epic, and other charting systems preferred.
**Certifications:**
- Required: BLS, ARRT (Radiography)
- Preferred: ARRT Advanced Certification
**Skills:**
- Strong Neuro and Stroke intervention skills.
- Proficient in both body procedures and vascular studies.
- Experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment.
**Work Environment:**
- Engage with patients primarily in the adult and geriatrics demographics, with occasional adolescents.
- Daily caseload averages 13-17 procedures.
- Participate in a call rotation for optimal patient care coverage.
**Additional Notes:**
- Hospital orientation and training classes provided in the first week.
- Scrubs will be provided for your convenience.
