Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the neurointerventional radiology services. Operating under physician supervision, this role involves advanced imaging, patient care, and support for procedures such as angiography, embolizations, coilings, and clot retrievals. The position serves healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory agencies, with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on call every other weekend. Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in radiologic technology, New York State license as Radiologic Technologist, ARRT(R), BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Floats: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs technical support for all neurointerventional procedures, including angiography, embolizations, and spinal injections. Operates advanced imaging equipment, adheres to safety standards, and ensures quality assurance. Assists in inventory management, reviews coding for billing accuracy, and provides clinical instruction when necessary. Maintains confidentiality and complies with hospital policies.
