Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position available in Bismarck, North Dakota. The role involves assisting radiologists during procedures, managing procedure scheduling and coding, and operating various imaging equipment. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in interventional radiology, hold BLS and ARRT(R) certifications, and be registered with the North Dakota Medical Imaging Board. The position requires independent work during smaller procedures, teamwork for larger angiography cases, and rotating call duties.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT(R) certification, BLS certification, minimum 3 years of interventional radiology technologist experience, North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration, and must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Schedule: 8-hour days, with the possibility of finishing cases past scheduled hours. Call approximately 10 days or less per month, roughly two days each week depending on time off schedules.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, including assistance in other departments such as CT.
- Additional Information: Responsible for assisting radiologists during procedures, managing equipment such as Toshiba IR Machines, Siemens Ultrasound, Sectra PACS, and Epic EMR. Must note if clinician has previously worked for the organization; if so, the previous end date must be at least six months prior to submission. Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and wear hospital-provided scrubs. The unit has two fluoroscopy rooms, CT, and ultrasound rooms. Training includes departmental equipment and protocol review.
