Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts with rotating day off per week

• On-call responsibilities as needed

• 13 or 26 week contract available

• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of mentor/preceptor

• BLS/ACLS certification required

• One of the following certifications required: ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS)

• Must have completed Associate Degree or above in Radiologic Technology OR 2-year RCIS program

• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures

• Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures

• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting

• Perform operator-level quality control checks, equipment cleaning and maintenance

• Provide patient-centric care to adult and pediatric populations in various settings

• Work as part of multidisciplinary care team in acute inpatient facilities, outpatient practices, and diagnostic centers

• Manager will consider candidates with no travel and no trauma experience

• Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and maintain confidential information
