Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required. No on-call or floating between units. 13-week assignment through January 25, 2027.

Highlights:

• Join a specialized IV Therapy/Vascular Access Team at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility
• Focus on ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access with approximately 15 patient visits per shift
• Night shift does not require PICC placement experience or procedures
• Work independently as the sole clinician during night shifts with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided
• Serve diverse patient populations including neonates, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in vascular access/IV therapy
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access, central line management, site assessment, and vascular access troubleshooting
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
