This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on September 8, 2026.

## Required Experience and Skills: - Minimum of 1-year experience required - L&D (Labor & Delivery) and Mother Baby experience required - Comfortable working with the prison population - Skills including Circulate for C-section, Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Mother/Baby, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) ## Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior accepted in lieu of CPI) - NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - AWHONN (Intermediate Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - STABLE (Post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care of sick infants) ## Licensure: - Valid TN state license or compact multi-state license required at time of submission - Current Nursys report required; license must be active (no pending licenses accepted) ## Additional Details: - First-time travelers and locals accepted at the same rate - Orientation is split into two 8-hour shifts, followed by department orientation with two 12-hour shifts - Required to float between L&D and Mother Baby units - COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required, with Medical/Religious exemptions only ## Compliance: - All certifications and licensure must be included in the submission packet - Compliance deadlines require HealthStream approvals 12 days prior to start and all other compliance by the Wednesday prior to start. Failure to meet deadlines may result in a delay or cancellation. - Modules are non-billable, up to 2 hours to complete pre-start, recorded by certificates of completion.
