Job Summary:
Mother/Baby Couplet Care Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the healthcare organization's facility. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care tailored to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of both patients, adhering to organizational policies and professional standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or a current, valid RN license in a compact state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in maternal and newborn care is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and professional certification in maternal/newborn care.
• Additional Information: Must have multi-skill capacity to provide couplet care for mother and baby postpartum, Nursery Level I, and Newborn Admit RN. Willingness to work every third weekend and holiday rotations as per department guidelines. Certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required. This position is based at the facility and may involve floating to other units if needed.
