Job Summary:
This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position in the maternal and infant care specialty, focusing on Mother/Baby Couplet Care in a healthcare facility located in Burlington, Vermont. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic environment, supporting postpartum patients and newborns, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position offers a rotating day/night schedule with opportunities for professional growth within a large or teaching facility.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating day/night shifts, 12 hours each shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; prior travel experience highly preferred; minimum of 2 years of specialty experience; antepartum experience preferred and openness to being in a charge role; experience in a large (500+) or teaching healthcare facility; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with antepartum care and charge nurse responsibilities
• Additional Information:
  • IVS to OFFER
  • Work schedule includes Monday to Sunday, with no block schedules for any reason
  • Bi-weekly orientation sessions conducted on Mondays
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history information including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required for submission
