Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with prior L&D operating room experience to support a hospital's labor, delivery, and OB care unit.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit caring for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum cases
• Unit includes a 3-bay OBED, 20 labor rooms, 3 ORs, and 3 PACU bays
• Travelers will function in OBED, L&D, and OB PACU but will not circulate OR cases
• Day shift schedule from 7:00am to 7:00pm
• 36 hours per week over 3 days, 0.9 FTE
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification through AWHONN or GE required at time of consideration
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
• Previous Labor & Delivery operating room experience required
• Must be able to circulate C-sections
• Must be able to triage OB patients
• ADN, ASN, or Nursing Diploma required from an accredited nursing program
• BSN or MSN preferred
