Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Postpartum/Mother/Baby (M/B) experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and willingness to work night shifts for a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Mother/Baby Unit, flexibility with schedule, ability to adapt quickly to new environments, excellent communication skills
- Additional Information: The role involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing perineal care, and educating parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding. The unit has approximately 23 beds with a staff of around 80 members, including RNs, CNAs, and charge nurses. It is equipped with Meditech and CPN electronic health records, and fostering a compassionate, patient-focused atmosphere is highly valued.
