Job Summary:
Specialty Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery/Post Partum at a healthcare facility located in Charlevoix, Michigan. This role involves providing competent care to women during labor, delivery, and post-partum stages, as well as caring for neonates in a level 1 nursery. The RN will work independently to stabilize and transfer high-risk patients and neonates, supporting a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Charlevoix, Michigan
- Schedule: Nights, 19:00 07:30, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36.0 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license, Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE, plus one of the following: Intermediate Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), National Certification Corporation (NCC) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), or Inteleos Competency in Fetal Monitoring and Care (C-FM).
- Preferred Qualifications: Competence and experience in labor and delivery, triage, emergent cesarean sections, and neonatal stabilization in a level 1 nursery. Ability to work independently is essential.
- Additional Information: Shift: Nights, 1900 - 0730, flexible nights. Weekends: Yes, includes 2 weekend shifts every two-week period (Saturday or Sunday). No holiday shifts. On-Call: 1 - 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks. No guaranteed hours, overtime after 40 hours. Scrubs are provided and laundered.
