Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Smyrna, TN. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to providing exceptional care to laboring patients. Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED
• Patient Ratios: 1-2
• Unit staffing includes: Unit Secretary, scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7, OBGYN on call
• Documentation systems: CPN and Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month
• Floating policy: May float to m/b or outside department to task
• Patient Experience requirements: Remain above 75%

Hospital Specifics:

• Certifications Required: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal monitoring

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

• Drive to provide the highest quality of care to our laboring patients
• Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference
• Advanced skills: Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful

Procedures performed on unit:

• Circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage - JADA system, nitrous oxide

Dress Code:

• Hot pink and black (preferably hot pink on top)

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

• HCA Unit of Distinction 2021
• TIPQC Pilot hospital for NTSV and Team Birth
