## Join Our Exceptional Labor and Delivery Team! **Job Description:** - **Location:** Smyrna, TN - **Unit Name:** Women’s Services - **Cost Center:** 66088 - **Shifts:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Unit Specifics:** - Number of Beds: - 9 L&D - 3 swing rooms - 2 ORs - 3 bed OBED - Patient Ratios: 1-2 - Staffing Support: - Unit Secretary and scrub tech - Dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7 - OBGYN on call - Documentation System: CPN and Meditech - Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month - Floating Policy: May float to maternal/baby or outside department to assist - Patient Experience Requirement: Remain above 75% **Required Skills and Certifications:** - Must have a drive to provide the highest quality of care to laboring patients - Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities - Advanced skills highly desired: - Spinning babies - STABLE - Procedures performed on unit: - Circulating in OR - IUPC - FSE - MgSO4 - Postpartum hemorrhage management via JADA system - Nitrous oxide - Required Certifications: - RN - ACLS - BLS - NRP - Fetal monitoring **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Hot pink and black - Preferably hot pink on top with black on the bottom **Awards & Recognitions:** - HCA Unit of Distinction 2021 - TIPQC Pilot hospital for NTSV and Team Birth **Additional Information:** - Work in a laborist team model with 24/7 midwives - Dedicated CRNA and OB on call for personalized birth experiences - Perform couplet care in postpartum unit, enabling newborns to stay by their mother’s side promoting breastfeeding - Access to donor milk availability - 8-bed Level 2 NICU with NNP available 24/7 to attend all high-risk deliveries **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
