Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Mother/Baby unit requiring an active OK or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

  • Work on a Mother Baby unit within a hospital setting
  • Care for mother and baby patient population
  • Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • 48 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend shifts required as needed by facility
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required as needed
  • Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

  • Active RN license in Oklahoma (State or Compact)
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience required
  • Prior Mother/Baby unit experience required
  • Black scrub color required

Additional Information

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain professional accountability for assigned patient care
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other hospital departments
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
  • Facility holds a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of A
  • Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, with make-up time required during the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted, though bill rate may be adjusted based on proximity to facility
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this position
