**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - Labor & Delivery!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Location: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 - Unit: Delivery Room - Number of Beds: 26 - Number of Staff: 112 - **Staffing:** - **Day Shift:** - 1 CNC (TL) - 14 Nurses - 2-3 Surgical Techs - 2 Unit Clerks - **Night Shift:** - 1 CNC (TL) - 12 Nurses - 2 Surgical Techs - 1 Unit Clerk - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:1 for high-risk labor and c-sections - 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, and postpartum on mag - 1:3 for postpartum mag no baby and outpatients - **Equipment:** - Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN (GE) monitor - EMR: Meditech / CPN - **Candidate Requirements:** - **Must Have:** - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience - BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN - **Preferred:** - Circulating C-sections experience - High-risk labor and delivery experience - **Typical Procedures:** - C-sections and Inductions - AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler - **Ideal Personality Fit:** - Compassionate, caring, friendly, patient, and solutions-oriented - Strong focus on patient care experience - **Unit Highlights:** - Self-scheduling available, enhancing staff satisfaction - Supportive team environment with collaborative nursing approach - Strong leadership team that actively collaborates on the floor - Many tenured nurses with 20-40 years of experience - New OB Hospitalist program initiated in April, providing valuable support **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
